Entry to The Source is first come, first served and subject to capacity limits. There is no extra ticket required to visit The Source. Refer to the Library of Congress Visit page for holiday hours or Library closures. -
For Educational GroupsAre you a school, homeschool group, scout troop, or camp interested in booking a facilitated or self-guided program during school workshop hours? Student programs are offered during the school year Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and during the summer from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Visit our Booking Field Trips page to learn more about student workshop opportunities.
Groups of 21 or more who are not reserving a student workshop should request their free timed-entry ticket to the building by filling out the group registration form. Groups not participating in reserved student workshops may visit The Source during public open hours. During busy times, large groups may be asked to divide into smaller groups and/or wait to enter The Source.
