Title
- Copyright Public Modernization Committee Forum
Summary
- The Library of Congress created the Copyright Public Modernization Committee in 2021 at congressional request to enhance communication and provide a public forum for the technology-related aspects of the U.S. Copyright Office's modernization initiative. The goal of the committee is to expand and enhance communication with external stakeholders on technological modernization of Copyright Office systems, and to provide a bi-annual public forum for sharing information and answering questions related to this initiative through fiscal 2024. The Library's Office of the Chief Information Officer and the Copyright Office hosted the first meeting of this committee in July 2021. This was the second bi-annual meeting of the committee.
