Process for Developing the PCC Strategic Directions
- On November 1, 2017, members of the PCC Policy Committee (PoCo) participated in a one-day facilitated session to identify strategic directions for the 2018-2021 period. A subset of PoCo further refined the strategic directions throughout November 2017. In December 2017, PoCo, PCC task groups, and the PCC stranding committees were asked to submit action items to add to the plan. The revised plan was presented at the ALA Midwinter At-Large Meeting on February 11, 2018. The completed document was published February 23, 2018, and subsequently revised January 24, 2019. The latest version, published April 29, 2021, revised and expanded the strategic directions and extended them an additional year to December 31, 2022.
