Note: Continuation of The Norfolk and
Portsmouth chronicle. The earliest issue located of
the new title is July 28, 1792. Between July 20 and
Aug. 3, 1793- Apr. 5, 1794 an "&" replaces the
word "and" between the words "Norfolk" and
"Portsmouth" in the title. On the issue of Aug. 3,
1793, "general is misspelled "geeral". Continued by
The Virginia chronicle, & general advertiser,
starting with the issue of Apr. 11, 1794.
