Note: Established Jan. 3, 1795, judging from the date of the earliest issue located, that of Jan. 10, 1795, vol. 1, no. 7. The prospectus, as published in the South carolina State gazette, of Dec. 16, 1794, announced that the first issue would appear on Jan. 1, 1795. The last issue located with this title is that of Feb. 18, 1795, vol. 1, no. 38. Continued by The Telegraphe, and Charleston daily advertiser.
