Note: Continuation of the General advertiser.
Because of the fever epidemic, publication was
suspended at Philadelphia with the issue of Aug. 27,
1799, and was begun at Bristol, Aug. 30, 1799.
Publication continued there through Oct. 19, and with
the issue of Oct. 22, 1799 it returned to
Philadelphia. Merged with the Franklin gazette to
form the Aurora and Franklin gazette, on Nov. 22,
1824.
