Note: In June 1797, Wands discountinued the American
spy and sold the establisment to Robert Moffitt & co., who
established The Northern budget. Charles R. Webster, shortly
thereafter, reestablished the American spy, and continued
it into the year 1798. The issue for Feb. 27, 1798, is the last
located with this title, and in September, 1798, it was continued
by the Lansingburgh gazette.
