Note: Continuation of The Massachusetts mercury. For a brief period between Dec. 4, 1795-July 5, 1796, title was known as the Massachusetts mercury (1795). With the issue of July 8, 1796, title again became known as The Mercury. Continued by the Massachusetts mercury (1797), starting with the issue of Jan. 3, 1797.
