Tessa Walsh
Tessa Walsh is the Digital Archivist at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA). Through research projects like Archaeology of the Digital, curated by Greg Lynn, and increasingly in its typical acquisitions, CCA actively acquires, preserves, and provides public access to the digital archives of architectural design projects. Among her other tasks, Tessa is responsible for developing and managing workflows and software for processing these born-digital archives, overseeing arrangement and description of the digital archives by CCA’s team of digital processing archivists, managing CCA's digital preservation repository, and ensuring that preserved archives remain accessible for research. Tessa is also an active member of several collaborative efforts to address questions of preservation and access for digital design records, including the Society of American Archivist’s CAD/BIM Taskforce and the Software Preservation Network.
