Update No. 7 (October 2006) to the MARC 21 Format for Holdings Data is now available from the Library of Congress. It includes changes made to the holdings format resulting from proposals which were considered by the ALA ALCTS/LITA/RUSA Machine-Readable Bibliographic Information Committee (MARBI) at its 2006 meetings, the Canadian Committee on MARC (CCM) at its meetings in 2006, and by the BIC Bibliographic Standards Group (BIC/BSG) at its 2006 meetings. This update features important new revisions including:

• Addition of field 506 (Restrictions on access note)
• Updated examples

Update No. 7 to the MARC 21 Format for Holdings Data is available for $10 worldwide (Except in Canada -- See below for ordering information in Canada).
