  • Adam Gidwitz and Renée Watson, authors of the highly acclaimed middle grade anthology "The Talk: Conversations on Race, Love & Truth," will discuss their writing process and how they navigate conversations about race. Parents, teachers, and all other caregivers are encouraged to attend with children and teens; the target audience for this presentation is ages 11-16.

    This program is supported by Marcia and Barnet Eskin in honor of their late son, Jonah Solkoff Eskin, who died by suicide. Each program begins with an introduction by the Eskin family, who speak about their family's loss.
