Contracting Officer's Representatives

The following is required training for all Level I Contracting Officer’s Representatives.

Certification requirements: 8 CLPs of training
Experience: No COR experience required
Re-certification requirements: Requires 8 hours of continuous learning points (CLPs) every two years
Risk level: This level of COR is generally appropriate for low-risk contract vehicles, such as supply contracts and orders.

Re-certification requirements: Requires 40 hours of continuous learning points (CLPs) every two years
Risk level: This level of COR is generally appropriate for contract vehicles of moderate to high complexity, including both supply and service contracts.

• COR Basic or COR Advanced - onsite 40 CLPs (for initial certification only)

Risk level: This level of COR is generally appropriate for contract vehicles of moderate to high complexity that require significant acquisition investment.
