Sabaa Tahir is the bestselling author of the “Ember in the Ashes” series, which has been translated into over 35 languages. She grew up in California's Mojave Desert in her family's 18-room motel. There, she spent her time devouring fantasy novels, raiding her brother's comic book stash and playing guitar badly. She began writing books while working nights as a newspaper editor. She likes thunderous indie rock, garish socks and all things nerd. Tahir’s 2022 National Book Festival-featured book is her latest work, “All My Rage: A Novel,” which is a tragedy and love story that spans generations and continents.
