The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center is back with an all-American program covering more than a century of ground. From the rarely heard instrumental music of H.T. Burleigh to the antics of Antheil, a series of classic and lesser-known works make the move from collection to stage. The Irving and Verna Fine Fund supports a new co-commissioned percussion quintet by George Crumb. Superb artistry marries the presentation of old and new in a delightful blend of nostalgia and looking to the future.
