For more than seventy years, the venerable Borodin Quartet has been celebrated for its "uncommonly rich, even tone and consoling warmth. Universally recognized for unmistakable authority in their performances of Russian music, these artists have a profound connection to the music of Dmitri Shostakovich, born from a decades-long relationship with the composer.
