PSD policy specialist responsible for this list: L. Dechman

According to the subject headings, the work cat is a collection of Ukrainian fiction. The number being proposed is for the history of Ukrainian literature.  The work should be classified at PG3933.A-Z.  The proposal may be resubmitted.

Political aspects of, and themes in, literature are classed in the existing number PN51.  The proposal was not approved.

P-PZ22 10.I53

The work is cataloged as history and criticism of fiction and short stories, which should be classed at the existing table entry P-PZ22 23.5.I53.  The proposal was not necessary.

Subdivisions to be added to lists of free-floating subdivisions:

                        H 1195, Land vehicles
$x Motors $x Fuel injection systems $x Fluid dynamics
$x Motors $x Lubrication systems $x Fluid dynamics

Other decisions:

Brazilian literature—Indian authors

The classification number should be established at the same time as this subject heading.  The proposals may be resubmitted.

China Sea

All of the seas currently established without a geographic qualifier have the BT Seas.  Since the practice makes for a very nice alphabetical list of seas, the meeting prefers to continue current practice.  The proposal was not approved.

Counselors—Professional development

According to SHM H 2217, the heading that should be used on the work cat is Counselors—In-service training. The proposal was not necessary.

Gliṅ bro bde chen rol mo (Dance)

The proposal should provide information in English from the work cat in order for the meeting to review the heading being proposed.  A description of the dance or its performance, such as if the dance is done at a particular time of year, or, if the dance is performed only by a certain group, etc., should be included in the proposal.  The proposal may be resubmitted.

Mexico—History—Tzeltal Rebellion, 1712

The form of heading is not supported by the source citations.  A Google search shows that the event is variously called a revolt and a rebellion.  Research should be cited to show the most common usage (which should be the heading) and the other names (which will be the UFs).  The proposal may be resubmitted.

Plaza Concepcion Cuepopan (Mexico City, Mexico)

There is no information provided in the 670s to support the qualifier.  Also, the proposal should include an inverted reference.  The proposal may be resubmitted.

Specialist Christopher Scott Post Office Building (Tyrone, N.Y.)

Tyrone, N.Y. should be established before it can be used as a qualifier.  The proposal may be resubmitted.

Lakota Indians

This heading has 7 NTs, Teton is a qualifier on 10 classes of persons and topics, and has been subdivided once.  All 18 additional proposals need to be submitted before the meeting can consider this one. The proposals may be resubmitted.
