According to Subject Headings Manual H 405, shopping centers should be established as Group 1 names under descriptive cataloging rules. The proposal was not approved.
Flowering peaches in art
In LCSH it is often the case that the heading for the fruit of a tree is also used for the tree itself. The concept represented in the proposal is covered by the existing heading Peach in art. The proposal was not approved.
Mudumu North Complex (Namibia)
The Mudumu North Complex is a cluster of conservancies, community forests and state protected areas in eastern Caprivi [Namibia] that cooperate in the management of wildlife, forests, and other natural resources (quoted from Conservancies in the Mudumu North Complex, 2009). From this statement it appears that the Complex is an administrative entity and should be established as a name under descriptive cataloging rules. The proposal was not approved.
Sukhoi aircraft
There are several individual models of Sukhoi airplanes already established in LCSH, and proposals should be made to update the BTs for those. The proposal may be resubmitted along with the related proposals.
