Manor Farm Barn (Broughton, Buckinghamshire, England)
It is unclear whether the barn associated with Manor Farm is a separately named structure. More research should be done to determine whether Manor Farm barn is merely a descriptive phrase or if it is a proper name. If the former, the generic heading for the structure should be assigned, per H 1334.
If on the other hand Manor Farm barn is a proper name, then it is part of the Manor Farm complex. Component parts of complex structures are entered directly under their own names and are qualified by the name of the complex structure (see SHM H 1334), which requires that the complex structure also be established. If Manor Farm barn is a proper name, then the proposal for the barn may be resubmitted with an additional proposal for the farm.
