Classification

Changes were made as indicated on the approved list.

Subject Headings

Biologism

The meanings of the terms biologism and sociobiology are very similar, and the meeting did not consider it advisable to have both as headings within LCSH. A UF Biologism will be added to the heading Sociobiology. The proposal was not approved.

Blunt trauma

Blunt trauma is one type of impact trauma; penetrating trauma is another. Because blunt trauma is not synonymous with impact trauma, the addition of a UF Impact trauma to the heading Blunt trauma is inappropriate. The proposal was not approved.

Music--Psychological asepcts

The subdivision --Psychological aspects is free-floating under most topical headings, so a UF in the form "Psychology of [specific topic]" could be added to every heading where --Psychological aspects is used. The meeting does not wish to start this pattern. Instead, a general see reference will be made. The proposal was not approved.
