This name has been used for two different bridges that have existed at different times on the same site; the proposed heading appears to be intended to cover both. Rather than a single heading for both bridges, a distinctive heading should be established for one of the bridges, or for each bridge if needed, qualified by dates if necessary in accordance with the Subject Cataloging Manual: Subject Headings, H 1334, sec. 3c. The proposal may be resubmitted as one of two separate proposals, as needed.

It is apparent from their reference structures that each of these proposed headings is intended to cover both a plantation and a house on that plantation.
