Lawyers as soldiers
This heading would be appropriate only for works that discuss the characteristics of lawyers that influence their performance or their suitability to perform as soldiers. The item being cataloged seems to be a collection of biographical sketches of Irish lawyers who served in World War I, together with a listing of their burial places. Headings such as Lawyers--Ireland--Biography and World War, 1914-1918--Registers of dead--Ireland seem more appropriate for the work. In addition, it is not clear what the relationship would be between this heading and the existing heading [place]--Armed Forces--Lawyers. The proposal was therefore not approved.
