GV854.8.Z-Z
The pattern cited for this proposal is not analogous, in that cycling is broken down in a manner different from skiing. For skiing, individual events are classed in the area of GV854.875-GV854.89, rather than under individual countries. Therefore the proposed provision for individual events in the subarrangement under each country was not approved. Only the portion of the proposal providing a breakdown for General works and Local, A-Z was approved.

It is not necessary to establish explicit Cutter numbers for specific localities in Local, A-Z breakdowns in the classification schedules. This proposal is therefore not necessary.

This proposal may be resubmitted together with a proposal to establish the heading Quinto (Drum) music, as required by H 1918, sec. 1.a.
Yakama children
The editorial meeting does not wish to change the existing pattern of references for headings qualified by adjectives designating names of Indian tribes. The proposed UF Children--Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, Washington was therefore not approved. The corresponding reference proposed for the heading Yakama women was also not approved.
