Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule
All Library of Congress buildings will be CLOSED to the general public on Thursday, Nov. 26 in observance of the federal Thanksgiving holiday.
All reading rooms and public spaces will be open regular hours on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The C Street/Metro Entrance to the Library’s James Madison Building will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Normal operational hours and access to all entrances and exits to all buildings, including the Great Hall and public exhibitions in the Jefferson Building, will resume on Friday, Nov. 27.
