Five photojournalists will discuss their work covering the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in a panel discussion on Thursday, June 20, at 2:30 p.m. in the Mumford Room, sixth floor, Madison Building, located at 101 Independence Ave. S.E. The event is free and open to the public.

Participating will be Bolivar Arellano, Steven Hirsch, and G.N. Miller, New York Post; Daryl Donley, Washington, D.C.; and Susan Watts, New York Daily News. Jeremy Adamson, chief, Prints and Photographs Division, will serve as moderator of the discussion.

The work of all five photojournalists is included in an important collection of news photographs from September 11 that was acquired recently by the Library of Congress through the generosity of Madison Council members Thomas and Katherine Martin. A small selection of photographs from this collection will be on display during the discussion.
