Dr. Billington and Mr. Sybrowsky will be available to answer reporters' questions following the Librarian's address at the President's Program of the American Library Association Annual Meeting in New York City. During his speech, Dr. Billington will discuss the need for universal public access to the Information Superhighway, the potential of the National Digital Library and how libraries across America can participate by digitizing their unique American history materials in collaboration with the Library of Congress's National Digital Library Program.
