Love Poems To Be Read on Valentine's Day

Three local poets will read their own poems, and those of others, in a special Valentine's Day program on Tuesday, February 14, at noon in the Mary Pickford Theater, third floor, James Madison Memorial Building, 101 Independence Ave. SE.

The poets are E. Ethelbert Miller, author of First Light: Selected and New Poems; Jean Nordhaus, author of My Life in Hiding, and Beth Joselow, author of Excontemporary.

E. Ethelbert Miller's latest book is In Search of Color Everywhere. A native of New York City, he is director of the African American Resource Center at Howard University and director of the Ascension Poetry Reading Series. Jean Nordhaus is a staff associate at the Breadloaf Writers' Conference and a former director of the poetry program at the Folger Shakespeare Library. Beth Joselow writes plays and nonfiction, in addition to poetry.
