The Zora Neale Hurston Plays at the Library of Congress presents a selection of ten Hurston plays which were found in 1997 in the Copyright Collections at the Library of Congress. Most of these plays have not been performed and have not been published. The plays document Hurston’s interest in African American folklore of the south and reflect her experiences, travels and research.
