Chemical & Engineering
Created as a single source for nanotechnology news from "Chemical & Engineering
News." Chemists and non chemists alike are encouraged to explore the site
as its presents breaking news from the forefront of the nano-world. The site
is broken up into two main areas: Top
Stories and The Archive.
All top stories and news available from the 'Index Page' are free to all users,
but you must be a member of the Society to access the 'Archive'."
CMP Científica is Europe's first integrated solutions
provider for the nanotechnology community. Its mission is to empower business
to make rational decisions about nanotechnology.
for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology
Foresight is a nonprofit educational organization formed to
help prepare society for anticipated advanced technologies. Its primary focus
is on molecular nanotechnology: the coming ability to build materials and products
with atomic precision.
Institute for Molecular
The Institute for Molecular Manufacturing (IMM) is a nonprofit
foundation formed to carry out research to develop molecular manufacturing (molecular
nanotechnology, or MNT).
The Institute of
The Institute of Nanotechnology was established to provide
a focus for burgeoning interest in nanotechnology, encourage new research, and
keep the public aware of developments in this field.
Resource Guide for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
of America (MSA)
The Microscopy Society of America is a non-profit organization
dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the knowledge of the science and
practice of all microscopical imaging, analysis and diffraction techniques useful
for elucidating the ultrastructure and function of materials in diverse areas
of biological, materials, medical and physical sciences.
The NanoBusiness Alliance is the first industry association
founded to advance the emerging business of nanotechnology and microsystems.
The NanoBusiness Alliance's mission is to create a collective voice for the emerging
small tech industry and develop a range of initiatives to support and strengthen
the nanotechnology business community.

In June 2003 the UK Government commissioned the Royal Society,
the UK national academy of science, and the Royal Academy of Engineering, the
UK national academy of engineering, to carry out an independent study of likely
developments and whether nanotechnology raises or is likely to raise new ethical,
health and safety or social issues which are not covered by current regulation.
This website explains what the study covered and how it was carried out.

The Nanowerk Nanotechnology Portal includes nanoBASE (a nanomaterial
database), nanoNEWS (daily news coverage and spotlight articles), nanoLINK (hundreds
of links to related to nanotechnology), nanoBLOG, nanoRISK (a newsletter), and
Science and Technology Council (NSTC)
The National Science and Technology Council was established
by Executive Order on November 23, 1993 as a cabinet-level council to coordinate
science, space and technology policies across the Federal Government. NSTC acts
as a "virtual" agency for science and technology (S&T) to coordinate
the diverse parts of the Federal research and development (R&D) enterprise.
NTSC has a Subcommittee on Nanoscale Science, Engineering and Technology (NSET).
Information about its National Nanotechnology Initiative may be found at http://www.nano.gov/start.htm
This website is dedicated to providing clear explanations of
nanotechnology applications in areas such as energy, medicine, and consumer goods.
