Otto Spengler supervised the collection of these newspaper articles concerning World War I, and arranged them chronologically in 400 large volumes. They yield a great deal of information about the political, social, and economic impact of the war as it was taking place. The volumes are housed in the Library’s Fort Meade, Md storage site. They may be requested by date from the Newspaper & Current Periodical Reading Room, LM 133, 1st floor of the Madison Building.
