Otto Spengler supervised the collection of these newspaper articles concerning World War I, and arranged them chronologically in 400 large volumes. They yield a great deal of information about the political, social, and economic impact of the war as it was taking place. The volumes are housed in the Library’s John Adams Building, on Deck 5 South (closed stacks). They may be requested by date from the book service desk, 5th floor of the Adams Building, and will be delivered to the special collection reading room area located near the book service desk.
