Foundation and Grant Resources:
A Short Title List of Selected (Print) Reference Sources Available in the Main Reading Room

Introduction

Items listed in this guide are available in the Main Reading Room reference collection. They can also be found at many other public and academic libraries; consult your local library for assistance. This list is not exhaustive, and specifically does not include student financial aid, contests and prizes, or most foreign sources. This guide also includes Library of Congress subject headings for further searching of these and other related topics. Online access to the GrantSelect database, which contains over 10,000 private funding opportunities provided by more than 4,000 sponsoring organizations, is available in the Microform and Electronic Resources Center (LJ-139, the former Computer Catalog Center) (LJ 139) of the Library of Congress, as well as other subscribing institutions.
