Although issues for Oct. 4, 1879-1880 were called v. 47,
no. 1175-v. 48 no.1226, they constitute v. 1; numbering
then proceeds with v. 2-. This journal of trade, finance,
and public economy features reports from numerous cities,
states, counties, and foreign countries on economic and
trade conditions therein. Gradually share price activity
reports, bond market quotations, export statistics, and
bank clearing data became regular features. There are
articles about a wide variety of financial and business
topics, on treaties, and on business law and pertinent
legislative activity. It was continued by Bradstreet's Weekly on Aug. 20, 1932;
however all issues of Bradstreet's Weekly have
been bound with this title.
