American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers is the new name of the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association and represents U.S. refiners and petrochemical manufacturers. The site includes information on a number of publications from the association which are available by subscription only, including an Annual Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses and various petrochemical statistical series. The association also makes available without charge the text of a few of its publications including the U.S. Refining Capacity Report, from 1999 to the present, based on data supplied by the U.S. Department of Energy on the crude oil capacity of petroleum refiners in the U.S., along with data on the capacities of the principal processing units within refineries.
