Biography:
Miguel León Portilla is a Mexican anthropologist, historian, author and the world’s foremost authority on Náhuatl philology and philosophy. He is currently the Emeritus Researcher of the Historical Research Institute at UNAM. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Elías Sourasky Award, the Belisario Domínguez Medal nd was recently honored with the Library of Congress Living Legend Award.
