Biography:
Patricia MacLachlan's critically acclaimed books for children of all ages have won numerous awards. Her book "Arthur, For the Very First Time," garnered the Golden Kite Award for fiction. Her 1986 Newbery Medal winner, "Sarah, Plain and Tall," was the subject of a popular television movie series. MacLachlan will appear in the Teens & Children's Pavilion.
