The Declaration House, also known as the Graff House, built in 1775 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was the rental home of Thomas Jefferson, then a 33-year-old delegate from Virginia to the Continental Congress. Here, he drafted America's Declaration of Independence. Graff was Jacob Graff, Jr., a bricklayer who constructed the house
