Last rites for Jane A. Delano. Representatives of government departments, friends and fellow workers of Miss Jane A. Delano paying last tribute to her at commitment services in Arlington National Cemetery. Miss Delano, who directed the mobilization of American nurses for world war service, died in France in April, 1919. Her body was returned to the United States on the transport Sherman, September 11. She is one of a few women to be buried in Arlington (nurses around grave)
