Readers may convert digital text documents into audio or braille files quickly and free of charge through the award-winning RoboBraille service. Documents are e-mailed or—new in 2011—uploaded to the RoboBraille website, www.robobraille.org. Within minutes, RoboBraille returns the document in the specified format—an MP3 audio file, for example, or a contracted or uncontracted braille file. Twenty file types are supported, and no special software or equipment is required.
