(Aug 14, 2009) The Conference of Western Attorneys General (CWAG) gathered in Idaho from August 2 though 5 for its 2009 summer meeting. CWAG members include the attorneys general of 15 western U.S. states. The first day of the conference was devoted to a project known as the Alliance Partnership, which is intended to foster cooperation between attorney general offices from the U.S. and Mexico on law enforcement matters. Attorneys general from 24 Mexican states were expected to attend this event.
