(Nov 20, 2012) On November 1, 2012, Ethiopia and Norway Sign an Agreement for the Access to Justice Project, NORWAY NEWS (Nov. 5, 2012).)

The goal of the Access to Justice Project is to expand legal services in Ethiopia, in order that everyone will have access to legal advice and information, regardless of means. The Project will include expanding a network of legal aid providers and promoting awareness and implementation of laws on human rights. The specific activities envisioned for the two-year project will be carried out by Addis Ababa University's Center for Human Rights and the College of Law and Governance Studies of which it is a part; the program will include training and sharing of best practices.
