(Apr 07, 2010) The Government of Liechtenstein adopted the Law on Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters on March 30, 2010. This legislation will facilitate the implementation of agreements on the exchange of tax information the nation has concluded. There were 11 such treaties signed recently that are not yet in force, including pacts with France (Sept. 22, 2009), Germany (Sept. 2, 2009), Ireland (Oct. 13, 2009), the Netherlands (Nov. 10, 2009), and the United Kingdom (Aug. 11, 2009). The new Law will also be applicable when additional treaties are concluded. The treaties and the Law are still subject to approval by the legislature.
