(Sep 08, 2008) On August 6, 2008, article 31 of Taiwan's Natonal Defense Law was amended to specify that the Ministry of National Defense will publicly submit to the Legislative Yuan a "Four-Year-Period Overall Review of National Defense" within ten months after every presidential inauguration. The amendment constitutes a new paragraph 4 in article 31.
