(Feb 17, 2011) It was reported on February 14, 2011, that the Gambian government has published consolidated laws of The Gambia (2009 REVISED EDITION OF LAWS OF THE GAMBIA) covering laws published through 2009. (VP Launches 2009 Revised Laws of The Gambia, DAILY OBSERVER (Feb. 14, 2011), http://tinyurl.com/4uq69sh.) The publication, which includes statutes and subsidiary legislation, was prepared by Raimond Shock, Commissioner of Law Revision for the 2009 edition, with the assistance of members of other government institutions, and published by LexisNexis of South Africa. (Id.) Although the publication is only available in hard-copy format, it will eventually be made available in electronic form. (Id.) The last edition of consolidated laws of The Gambia was published in 1990. (Id.)
