Charles D'Almaine

Charles D'Almaine (1871–1943) was house violin soloist and concertmaster for the Victor and Edison companies. He also recorded copiously for Columbia and many other labels. As a soloist, D'Almaine turned in consistent workmanlike renditions of classical melodies, popular songs, novelties, and Irish jigs and reels. His association with Victor began in 1901.
