Penny's work has garnered much critical praise, including receiving the Agatha Award five times. Her novels are set in Quebec and feature Chief Inspector General Armand Gamache. Penny's latest Gamache mystery is "Glass Houses" (Minotaur). She lives outside of Montreal near the American border.
