Emerging from the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in 1987, under the leadership of founding patron Sir Simon Rattle, the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group is a global leader in the performance of innovative new music. Knussen leads his long-time collaborators in a program that showcases the Library’s rich commissioning and presenting legacies.
