This page provides Microsoft Word source files from which the ALA-LC romanization tables are created. The fonts needed to properly display and edit are listed after each table name. If your computer lacks one or more of the fonts listed for the romanization table you wish to edit, you will need to download the font from the internet and install it on your computer. There are many potential sources for specialized fonts, and most sources are free. Please contact Bruce Johnson in LC’s Policy and Standards Division (bjoh@loc.gov) if you need help finding a specific font.
