Cokie Roberts, a New York Times best-selling author, is a political commentator for ABC News and serves as a senior news analyst for National Public Radio. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including two Emmy Awards, induction into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame and a citation from American Women in Radio and Television as one of the 50 greatest women in the history of broadcasting. Her books include We Are Our Mothers’ Daughters, Founding Mothers: The Women Who Raised Our Nation and Ladies of Liberty: The Women Who Shaped Our Nation (HarperCollins, 2008). She lives in Bethesda, Maryland.
