Andrew Klavan, recipient of two Edgar Awards, is the author of several best-selling novels, including Don’t Say a Word and True Crime -- both made into full-length motion pictures. He has written three books in the popular Weiss/Bishop series: Dynamite Road, Shotgun Alley and Damnation Street. His latest book is the political thriller Empire of Lies (Harcourt, 2008). He is a contributing editor at the Manhattan Institute’s City Journal, and his essays and articles have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times and the Village Voice, among other publications. He lives in Southern California.
