Harry Turtledove is the author of more than 70 books, covering science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction and alternate history. His latest novel, The Gladiator (Tor, 2007), is the fifth in his popular alternate-history adventure series Crosstime Traffic. He is the recipient of several awards, including a Hugo, a Nebula, two Sidewise Awards (Alternate History), a John Esther Cooke Award for southern fiction, and a Hal Clement Award for best Young Adult science fiction. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
