Victoria Rowell is a two-time Emmy Award-nominated actress who has won the NAACP Image Award 11 times. She has played a multitude of roles in her career as a ballet dancer and actress, including starring roles on Diagnosis: Murder and The Young & the Restless. In her memoir, The Women Who Raised Me (William Morrow/HarperCollins, 2007), she honors the women who played starring roles in her personal life. Recognized for her humanitarian work, she is founder of the Rowell Foster Children’s Positive Plan and national spokesperson for the Annie E. Casey Foundation/Casey Family Services and National Foster Care Month.
